Mt Hay Retreat

“My husband celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary in Berry and stayed at Mt Hay . We felt so spoilt and the fact it’s adults only is even better . The privacy was fantastic and the service by Anthony and Louise was spot on . They were always there to help if need be. The pool is so clean and warm . The views were to die for and the morning walks were fantastic too . Love the swing and the bath on the verandah . We couldn’t have been more relaxed. Looking forward to our next trip back .”

“A fantastic couple getaway. We could not fault a thing. The room was luxurious and so comfortable. The view from the room absolutely was amazing over the hills and to the coast. “WOW !!! What a place to visit. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and made to feel special. Nothing was a problem. Lovely couple & their dogs. View is amazing and the room was just perfect. I came away to relax and unwind so very thankful there was no cooking facilities. With Berry township just 7 minutes away, everything you need is there. Oh and the price in my opinion is fair and reasonable for what you get. Thank you. Just what we needed. We will be back x”

“What a hidden Gem We stayed here for our 22yr anniversary and we had the best getaway here in our 22yrs of marriage. Best anniversary getaway by far. The luxury suite was perfect and we would love to try their other rooms next time. As I know all are amazing. Anthony met us upon arrival. Helped us with our bag and showed us to our room/pool area. Peaceful, clean, views were unmatched and we were so relaxed. Close to main Berry shops, lots of nice food places to eat from. Very surprised how amazing the area is, wished we knew of this place sooner. The history of the retreat was very intriguing to us and how they developed this over the years was an amazing history to read about. Pool/spa was amazing and we enjoyed it very much. Louise & Anthony were amazing hosts, helpful, thoughtful & friendly. The little things matter to us and we have been to many places to travel and they were exceptional with the little things. Louise came out as we got back in whilst raining she had the umbrella for us to get out of the car and gave it to us to use during our stay. We locked ourselves on the balcony not realising whilst taking our pictures and we called Anthony and he came and opened it for us, embarrassing of course as we were oblivious but he didnt mind rescuing us and was so kind about it too. I cant wait to come back, we are thinking this will become a yearly retreat for us away from the cares of every day life to relax and enjoy, the plus is its less than 2 hrs away from us too. Thankyou Louise & Anthony, your retreat is amazing, keep up your amazing work with this beautiful place. We will be back no doubt.”
